::The General Post Office (GPO) is situated in G-6 sector of Islamabad. It is government's entity. That's why the rates of mail delivery and other facilities are very low as compare to other private courier companies. In addition to mail delivery many other functions like money transfer, motor registration etc is being done here.

::Typical Government Organization. I have my vehicles registration at this office. No doubt much cheaper but being non-resident of Islamabad I faced problem of cooperation from this office and being asked to visit very next day instead of being served. Accessible and much prominent place.
