  While the Paanis known to be a mouth freshener but actually they create bad breath. Continuous chewing of paan discolours the teeth permanently and there is no medicine to completely remediate the same afterwards except the replacement of teeth. Hence, while at one hand the paan is considered to be symbol of being royal i.e. shaan, on the other hand the same makes you ashamed with discoloured teeth. As per a study report, the chances of the oral cancer increases 50 times in a person who chews paan.
