  A very expensive hospital but not that much satisfactory in delivering good services to their customers. It can be called a five star hospital. They charge huge amount of service from patients in almost every case. Middle class society cannot afford this facility.

  I think Shifa international hospital is the top ranked hospital of Islamabad and providing excellent health facilities but one thing that needs to be address is that their rates are so much high that needs to be addressed. And one more thing some staff members in the laboratory are not cooperative. I have visited number of times and the staff members in the laboratory always looks and behave like they are treating us free of cost. And one more things in the clinics also the staff members are not cooperative . The behavior of staff members needs to b addressed by the management of hospital..

  It is a good hospital but staff isn't so much cooperative. I visited for a medicine at Pharmacy but they totally ignored me and when they notice I am not going away they simply said we don't have the medicine. I disliked that. Otherwise hospital is good.

  I have a great respect for the work that this hospital is doing. Not everyone is perfect but the staff and doctors at Shifa try to provide quality care. This is a truly tertiary care center with dozens of speciality clinics and thousands of staff member. They have a very effective and efficient registration system, volunteers can be seen who guide patients and caregivers. Staff is courteous is majority of the cases and there are lots of facilities both for doctors and patients. Not everyone is competent and there might be bad experiences with some who visit this but this doesn't make the whole hospital worthy of criticism and bashing. Yes, this is a private hospital and costs 💰.

  Compared to most medical institutions, it can be considered as 'amongst the best'. Being next to a sewage channel, is effective for getting rid of harmful waste which otherwise would be a problem. It has it's own incinerator for non-biodegradable waste and has the most extensive range of doctors who are just as experienced and learned as doctors found in any other international hospital. The reception is fast albeit the demand for doctors is not met due to the fact that the hospital always has a patient who has their appointment. They have their own pharmacies, of which two I've visited and have almost always found to be stocked with whatever is required. The fee is high, but with a hospital that has such facilities, you'd expect an expensive fee. The waiting area is comfortable, and temperature controlled. Security is highly effective and an emergency exit is available. The only con is, when commuting the emergency exit sometimes may be slow to enter as there's no authority that is regulating the parking space outside the hospital. A park is also available for anyone who may be visiting a patient. The cafeteria has a healthy environment, with tasty and healthy food all round (with unhealthy soft drinks but, that's up to you). Overall, it's what you'd expect from a private hospital of epic proportions- reception may be slow, but you'll see why once you get here
