  Regarding Neela Gumbad Cycle Market is the ONLY market (of its SIZE and variety of bicycles available) in Lahore city, I will try to be informative in DETAIL in my write-up (I am restricting this write-up only to the BICYCLE market, there are other nature of business here also). My intention is only to provide useful information to those who intend to purchase from here. I had to purchase sports bicycle for my own use. I thoroughly surveyed this market over three separate occasions. Here are the core extracts of my multiple visits to this market :- 1) Quite certainly, you will not find as much variety of products (starting from baby cycles, scooties & going up to sports bicycles which adults of any age group can ride) and as economical prices in ANY other market in Lahore! This gives this market its biggest edge. So it is absolutely WORTH paying a visit if you wish to purchase any of the aforementioned category of products because of the mentioned reasons 2) Congested parking and limited space, YES those are issues which if you wish to avoid, visit either EARLY morning (past 10 o clock, before 1 o clock) from Monday to Saturday or early afternoon on a Sunday (the market is open on Sunday) 3) Almost all the shops selling bicycles are on the main road, if you have done your survey from all those shops (which are MANY! To be honest) then you have surveyed majority of what this market has to offer. 4) SURVEY! Before buying! This is the most important thing I can tell you! One shopkeeper tried to sell me an ALLOY bicycle (alloy is lighter in weight as compared to its steel counterpart) for PKR 22,000/=. Few shops ahead, alloy cycle was being sold for PKR 14,000/= A third shopkeeper tried to finalize deal (alloy bicycle –adult) for PKR 15,000/= 5) I was able to understand which types of products are available & around what price range after multiple visits (this is why I AGAIN emphasize, SURVEY BEFORE BUYING!!); hence now my purchase of the sports bicycle that I want should be free of any regrets! 6) I won’t be badmouthing any shopkeeper; yes some try to play over-clever with an average walk-in customer yet they are there to make a living. However please DO NOTE that MANY of them will be quoting prices keeping CONSIDERABLE MARGIN of bargain! To quote an example, a standard China imported steel sports bicycle can be quoted from PKR 9,000 to 13,000 (9k being the least a shopkeeper can go, really!). It was an interesting experience, researching through the market and keeping a keen eye on which products are being offered in different shops and at different prices (there was a lot to learn, really!). I once again advise you to take some time out & survey majority of shops out there before finalizing your purchase of the product of your choice.
