  Lok Virsa museum is v beautiful, depicting historical and traditional characters of Pakistan. Very informative and culture rich , pretty educational for kids. Hand made stuff drom different cultural backgrounds is beautiful. and displayed with detailed background. It's v useful for students and all others who intend to know about history with original belongings too. Don't miss it when u t in Islamabad

  A good place to visit in Islamabad. The museum is big and gives insight of Pakistani culture and heritage. Culture of all the provinces and regions is beautifully presented. Requires walking so wear comfy shoes.

  One of the best place in Islamabad. I especially love their shops, so many vintage items to buy from around the world! Beautiful artwork inside the museum. Great place to curate art shows as well! 👍

  The museum was a nice attempt to present the differences between the regions of Pakistan. The problem is that the people who curated it thought that everything is self-explanatory, so didn't bother with putting much information (only a short paragraph, about 5-8 libes of text, that should say what are you looking at, but really leaves you more confused than before). I asked for a guided tour and the local guide was taking me through the exhibition as if she was running for a record; so it comes as no surprise that she was giving a single-sentence summary to the signs. The WC is outside the museum; by the looks of it, only male janitors who refuse to clean the ladies' room have ever worked on the premises because it didn't seem to have been cleaned... Ever. The ticket for foreigners is 500 rupees instead of the 50 r Pakistanis. Yet I would have been happy to pay extra if there was a proper explanation, less creepy mannequins and a rest room suited for humans.k
